Final touches and moving in
final touches.... these moulded cupboard doors... beware! they love to bow... so keep them flat and dont cut much off!!!!
old bedrooms were completely vacated. we did this over a week... the kids noticed the slowly all their stuff was going missing. We kept the bedrooms locked so the children couldnt see inside until christmas morning.
We slept on inflatable matrasses on christmas eve.... the new rooms were to be the christmas present.
carpet
Gary came on the 16 of december to lay the carpet.... the skirtings were finished only a couple of days before and me and a friend scrubbed and washed the floor because we were going to have the carpet glued down with a pressure sensative glue.
Finishing the bedrooms
for some reason the uploader put the photos in backwards.... so the photos are viewed from the bottom up, and i wasnt going to change them all.
The finishing touches, now all ready for painting
the floor was a little unlevel.... but not much yeah!
internal arcitraves installed

Stairs
After a long and tedious couple of months they are finally done (except for the balustrades to Heathers horror). I think they look great. But sometimes i find it hard to celebrate my accomplishments as I know there is so far to go.

Water tanks and Fence
Well hello everyone!! Construction stage is fun... lots of progress. You may also have noticed in the video my enthusiasm... not. I am pretty tired it has been a busy few weeks. Blogger is messing up again. Video at the bottom of the page.
Hope you enjoy.
Still shot of my new fence... not too bad and a good use of recycled tin, I think. Will be ordering capping this week, to cover the sharp top.
Brigham has been a really big help in the building. He has been by my side most of the time. Seems to love helping out and I love his company.
Stairs
Hi Guys... I am wrestling with uploading my video to blogger again!! I dont konw what is up with that. So whilst I wait for that to sort itself out. I have included a picture of what I am contemplating for my stairs. I really like this balustrate (spelling?), I think it is interesting and if i use apple tree branches it will continue with the theme..
Oh well.. till blogger sorts it self out
